Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at County Hwy G in Fond du Lac County, WI on May 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11 a.m. According to investigators, a dump truck was performing a left turn when it collided with a motorcycle. The motorcycle was reportedly attempting to pass the dump truck and struck the rear tires in the collision. The cyclist, 67-year-old Michael Lotzer, died. The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
