What Happened

Wisconsin State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 141 in Pound, WI on December 15th, 2021. Officials say the incident happened around 11 a.m. They go on to say it involved two dump truck, a logging truck a box truck and several other vehicles colliding on snowy road and fog conditions. The collision resulted in several vehicles being pushed into a train, which derailed the vehicle. The box truck involved was pushed under the train after colliding with the rear of a service van. The driver  of the van, identified as 58-year-old Steven Buss, was killed in the crash. The drivers of the two dump trucks involved were both hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
