What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at State Hwy 49 in Dodge County, WI on October 25th, 2023. Police say the incident 2:47 a.m. According to investigators, a box truck was allegedly spotted headed southbound in northbound lanes prior to colliding head-on with a northbound Kia. Following that collision, a northbound Chevrolet made contact with the Kia. The 25-year-old Kia driver and a 28-year-old passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene. Two additional passengers were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. The three occupants of the Chevrolet were hospitalized with injuries said to be non-life-threatening in nature, according to sources. The condition of the box truck operator, a 69-year-old Pennsylvania man, was not revealed. Authorities did not disclose additional information.
