What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-80 near Evantson, WY on October 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:30 a.m. A Chevrolet pickup truck headed westbound on I-80 collided with a semi-truck. Police say the semi was turning around at a crossover due to rolling closures in the are and moved in front of the pickup during the turn. After the collision. the pickup truck hit a parked tractor-trailer and the driver, 74-year-old Arnold Olguin, suffered fatal injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
