What Happened

Wyoming Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Hwy 335 in Sheridan County, WY on February 19th, 2023. Police say the incident happened as a Jeep operated by Kimberly A. Flynn was headed northbound on Hwy 335. Police say the Jeep was entering into the intersection with Knode Rd when it was struck by a snow plow on the passenger side. 29-year-old Zachary J. Nicholson, who was riding as a passenger in the vehicle on that side, suffered serious injuries. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries he later died form. The conditions of the drivers was not stated. Police say the roads were covered in snow and ice at the time and both may have played factors in the collision.
