What Happened

Fort Worth Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at I-20 near McCart Ave in Fort Worth, TX on October 31st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:30 a.m. After having been previously involved in a collision with another vehicle, three women involved exited the vehicles and were in the right shoulder waiting for help. An approaching vehicle is said to have veered into the shoulder and struck the women. One, 20-year-old Isabel Vasquez, died at the scene. The other two were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. The vehicle that struck the women fled the scene after the collision. Additional information was not available.
