What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Baneberry and Pelican St in Montgomery County, TX on September 24th, 2021. Police say it happened around 10:50 p.m. A GMC Sierra operated by 31-year-old Kyle Stenmark is said to have been traveling westbound on Baneberry Rd at a high rate of speed when it veered into eastbound lanes. It veered from the road and while attempting to return to travel lanes, lost control and overturned. A 43-year-old female passenger was ejected from the vehicle in the rollover and suffered serious injuries. Stenmark suffered less serious injuries and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
