Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-10 in Vidor, TX on September 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10:52 a.m. A Polaris Slingshot operated by 71-year-old Danny Chris Navarre was traveling just ahead of a tractor-trailer when it lost control and veered from its lane due to it hydroplaning. As a result, the vehicle was struck by the tractor-trailer, causing Navarre serious injuries. The truck driver was not injured. Police issued Navarre a charge of Failure to Drive in Single Lane.
