What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 147 in Falls County, TX on November 19th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:40 p.m. a tractor-trailer is said to the have lost control at  curve before veering from the road, overturning and hitting a tree. The driver died after being exposed to toxic fumes when the tank was punctured during the crash. A responding officer was also hospitalized after also being exposed to the fumes as well. Additional information was not immediately available.
