What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at North Main St and Chandler Rd in Taylor, TX on December 5th, 2021. Officials say the incident happened around 6:53 p.m. Investigators are saying a vehicle operated by 27-year-old Dylan Wade Weise failed to yield right of way during a left turn and turned into the path of a motorcycle operated by 63-year-old Mark Becker. The vehicles collided in the process and Becker and his passenger, 66-year-old Nancy Becker, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Police allege that Weise was intoxicated at the time of the collision and two counts of Intoxication Manslaughter were said to have been issued agains Weise.
