Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 281 in Burnet County, TX on May 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:14 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by a 37-year-old Luis "Eddie" Hernandez was headed southbound when it reportedly veered into a guardrail. It then overturned onto its side before ejecting Hernandez from the vehicle as it went into a drainage ditch. Hernandez suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Responding officers allege alcohol beverages were located near the vehicle. Additional information was not immediately available.
