Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at First St in Garland, TX on July 31st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:21 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Elantra operated by a 28-year-old Garland man was headed southbound when it attempted a u-turn at the intersection with Casalita Dr. It collided with a northbound Kia Nir0 operated by 66-year-old Mark Beegle. Beegle suffered serious injuries in the collision. The other driver was not injured and, according to reports, charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
