What Happened

Area authorities have identified the person killed in a two vehicle crash at State Route 948 in Warren County, PA on September 15th, 2022. Police say it happened around 6:54 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 60-year-old Wayne Rubright was headed southbound on Route 948 as a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 52-year-old Charles Honeywell was headed northbound. The Silverado is said to have lost control at a curve in the road and crossed into the southbound lanes, colliding head-on with the tractor-trailer. The crash left Honeywell with fatal injuries while Rubright was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
