Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 1788 in Andrews, TX on September 18th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:23 p.m. Investigators believe a commercial truck operated by 44-year-old Mexico man was headed eastbound when it failed to yield at a stop intersection and collided with a Ford Expedition operated by 39-year-old Joaquin Morga. Morgan and a passenger, 39-year-old Maria De Jesus Gomez, suffered serious injuries in the crash. The other driver was not injured.
