Amarillo Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at South Taylor St in Amarillo, TX on November 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:45 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Juke operated by 22-year-old Isaiah Humberto Mendiola was taking a curve in the road at a speed believed to be high before it lost control. It struck a guardrail and nearby structure, ejecting Mendiola from the vehicle. Mendiola suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Additional details were not available.
