What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Malaga Rd in Gloucester County, NJ on November 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:30 p.m. Investigators say a vehicle operated by 30-year-old Lashaya Goldsmith was headed westbound on Malaga Rd before it veered into an eastbound lane and struck a Mack truck operated by 62-year-old Richard Lupton. The collision caused the truck to veer into a westbound lane and collided with a vehicle operated by 27-year-old Anastasia Keermann before also hitting a tree. Goldsmith and Keermann were hospitalized with serious injuries. Lupton was pronounced dead at the scene. Additional information was not immediately available.
