What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at W Sam Houston Parkway Toll Rd in Houston, TX on November 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. According to investigators, a vehicle was parked either in a travel lane or near a travel lane as the driver was changing a flat tire. Another vehicle is said to have been speeding before striking a different vehicle, causing it to lose control and hit the man changing the tire. Four other vehicles lost control shortly after. The man changing the tire suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Another driver involved also died. Additional information was not immediately available.
