California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that left a man dead at Hwy 101 in San Jose, CA on February 1st, 2023. Police believe it happened in the northbound lanes around 5:55 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota was rear ended by a Honda, the impact pushing the Toyota into the rear of a second Toyota. This caused the second Toyota to crash into a nearby tractor-trailer, killing the 39-year-old driver. The driver of the first Toyota was hospitalized with injuries believed to be serious.
