What Happened

Arlington Police are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at I-20 and Center St in Arlington, TX on March 4th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:57 a.m. According to investigators, A GMC Yukon operated by 30-year-old Lavarius Davis was headed westbound, as was a Toyota Avalon operated by a 31-year-old Arlington man. Police say the GMC collided with the read of the Toyota under unclear circumstances, causing the GMC to veer into a barrier. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn, causing Davis fatal injuries. The drivers of the other vehicles were evaluated of possible injuries.
