Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Military Hwy in Mercedes, TX on June 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10 p.m. According to investigators, Ford Mustang headed southbound is alleged to have missed a stop sign at the intersection with FM 491. The vehicle struck and traveled underwear a tanker truck and was dragged along for several feet before landing in a ditch.
