Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person and injured two teens at County Rd 2800 in Lubbock, TX on December 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened sometime around 3:52 a.m. Investigators allege a Dodge Ram 2500 was northbound on County Rd 2800 prior to veering into an east ditch. The vehicle is said to have  swerved before going into a skit and overturning. 44-year-old occupant, Kristie Dawn McWilliams, was killed in the incident, reports say. Reports also indicate the 17-year-old driver of the vehicle and a second 17-year-old occupant were both hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not available.
