Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-20 and FM 1085 in Taylor County, TX on January 21st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:55 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer headed eastbound on I-20 was headed eastbound on I-20, navigating a curve in the roadway. Authorities say the vehicle veered from the road, for unclear reasons, into a center median. While attempting to return to the road, the vehicle veered into a road sign before rolling over into service road lanes. Reports indicate the driver, a 27-year-old Redwood City, CA man, was fatally injured. A passenger, who was not identified, had serious injuries, reports say.
