What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed six people at Hwy 135 and US Hwy 62 in Corning, AR on April 15th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:23 p.m. Officials say a tractor-trailer and an SUV were involved in a collision at an intersection under unclear circumstances. Authorities say six people involved, including were killed. Authorities identified the victims as 37-yea-rold Sonter Andon, 65-year-old Rekinna Alanso, 62-year-old Santos Andon, 36-year-old Nisdy Inek and 34-year-old Jessica Inek. A 3-year-old child was also killed in the incident. The tractor-trailer operator, identified as 82-year-old Gerayne Poole, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
