What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at FM 756 in Smith County, TX on October 23rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:46 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Fusion headed southbound is alleged to have failed to yield prior to making a left turn into a private drive. Officials say the vehicle collided with an approaching motorcycle, causing the vehicle to overturn into a bar ditch. Police say the 70-year-old motorcycle operator, Arthur Hill, and 63-year-old passenger, Kim Hill, both suffered fatal injuries in the collision. The Ford operator, who was not publicly identified and allegedly uninjured, was cited for/ charged with Failure to Yield Row. Additional information was not immediately available.
