What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed one person involved at State Hwy 22 in Barling, AR on November 22nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:32 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Colorado headed southbound in a parking lot is said to have collided with and traveled through a nearby restaurant. Officials say five people inside were struck by the vehicle, including 48-year-old Heather White. White suffered fatal injuries while 52-year-old Stacey Pope, 64-year-old Verl Anderson, 70-year-old Meredith Anderson and 20-year-old Garrison White, all had unspecified injuries.
