State Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that left two people dead at Hwy 72 in Gravette, AR on April 18th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:58 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 48-year-old Misty Martin is believed to have been traveling eastbound on Hwy 72. Officials allege the vehicle veered into a westbound lane where it collided with a tractor-trailer operated by 37-year-old Eddie James Silas. The collision left Martin and a child passenger in the same vehicle with injuries that were fatal. Silas had undisclosed injuries. At this time, police do not have additional information to share.
