Arkansas State Police released the name of the person killed in a single-vehicle accident on Hwy 224 S in Newport, AR on January 7th, 2019. 22-year-old Roger Jones Jr seriously injured when his vehicle lost control at a curve, went off the road, and struck a culvert before overturning and striking a tree. He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
