What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a collision that killed a motorcyclist at I-805 near Chula Vista, CA on May 3rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6 a.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle operated by an unidentified driver is said to have collided with the rear of a tow truck. The collision caused the motorcyclist to suffer serious injuries that he was hospitalized for treatment of. Police confirmed the man later died from his injuries.
