What Happened

California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist on I-5 near Elk Grove Blvd in Elk Grove, CA on November 2nd, 2019. Officials say the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. A motorcycle reportedly failed to stop for braking traffic and collided with the rear of a pickup truck. The 63-year-old cyclist was ejected from the vehicle and landed before being run over by an 18-wheeler. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
