Semi truck 1 slowed to allow room for semi-truck 2 to pass around semi-truck 3 that was disabled in a shoulder. Semi-truck 2 was unable to slow down and crashed into semi-truck 3.


What Happened

California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash involving multiple semi-trucks on Hwy 99 near Stockton, CA on January 8th, 2019. Officials say the accident involved three semi-trucks. The first of the three attempted to give room to a second semi-truck to pass around a disabled third semi. The second semi was unable to slow in time and crashed into the disabled semi. The driver of the second semi was killed in the crash. Authorities have not yet released any names of those involved.
