What Happened

New Haven Police are investigating a crash that killed a moped driver on Lexington Ave in New Haven, CT on February 1st, 2019. Officials say the crash occurred when the moped lost control and crashed into the rear of a parked oil truck. The 58-year-old driver was transported to an area hospital where they later died from their injuries. The oil truck was unoccupied at the time of the crash.
