What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at US 192 and Griffin Rd in Osceola County, FL on September 23rd, 2019. Officials say the incident happened around 6:50 a.m. A dump truck driven by 50-year-old Emilio Puerto Hernandez reportedly failed to stop for traffic and jumped over a median into oncoming traffic. The truck then collided with a motorcycle and SUV. The drivers of the motorcycle and SUV were both pronounced dead at the scene. They were later identified as 19-year-old Saranette Nieves Soto and 48-year-old Landa Temples.
