What Happened

Illinois State Police are investigating a crash that killed at least one person involved at I-55 in Grundy County, IL on January 5th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9 p.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck alleged to have failed to slow before colliding with the rear of a pickup truck and SUV.
