What Happened

Kansas Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that injured two drivers at I-35 in Topeka, KS on July 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6 p.m. Investigators believe a northbound commercial truck lost a tire axle, causing it to lose control and strike a second  commercial truck. The second truck also hit a nearby barrier wall in the collision. Both drivers, identified as 45-year-old Abdikarim F. Guliad and 38-year-old Pardeep Singh were taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Additional information was not available.
