What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 143 in Salina, KS on January 2nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:15 p.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck was headed eastbound before veering from the road for unknown reasons. After traveling off the edge of the road, it went through an intersection before going into a ditch. The driver, 46-year-old Gurmeet Deol, suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
