Area authorities confirmed details related to a crash that injured a driver on the Bi-State Vietnam Gold Star Twin Bridges in Henderson, KY on January 18th, 2020. Officials say a passenger sedan reportedly lost power in a travel lane. As the driver was leaning to retrieve a flashlight from the glove box, the vehicle was struck by a semi-truck. The impact caused the vehicle to spin, where it was then dragged along the concrete barrier wall. The rear of the truck ended up on top of the passenger sedan and the driver had to be extricated from the vehicle. The driver was hospitalized moderate injuries.
