What Happened

Kentucky State Police are investigating a crash that injured a person at Cumberland Parkway in Glasgow, KY on May 4th, 2023. Police say the incident happened as a semi-truck headed southbound on Veterans Outer Loop was attempting to perform a left turn onto Cumberland Parkway. Investigators believe as it did so, it collided with a motorcycle traveling northbound, operated by Jesus McKay. McKay, who police say was wearing a helmet, was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. The driver of the semi-truck, identified as Gaithel Spears, was not injured.
