State Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-95 in Auburn, ME on November 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Ranger operated by 70-year-old Richard Kammel is said to have collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer under unclear circumstances. The impact caused the Ford to overturn and catch fire. Kammel was taken to an area hospital with injuries said to be non-life-threatening. The other driver was not injured.
