What Happened

State Police identified the two people killed in a two-truck crash at US 12 in Berrien County, MI on January 9th, 2023. The victims were identified as 35-year-old Christopher Deneen and 46-year-old Dustin Marshall. Investigators believe a propane truck operated by Deneen and a gasoline truck operated by Marshall collided. They allege the propane truck crossed a center median while headed eastbound on US 12 around 3:35 p.m. Deneen was pronounced dead at the scene while Marshall later died from his injuries at an area hospital. Authorities did not share additional information.
