What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at US 24 in Randolph County, MO on January 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:57 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 31-year-old Kaysamual Blanks was stopped, partially in a shoulder while blocking lanes of travel. Reports say Blanks was standing outside the sopped vehicle as a second tractor-trailer, operated by 61-year-old Michael Fenner, approached. Sources say the second truck collided with both the stopped truck and Blanks, leaving Blanks fatally injured. Fenner also suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
