What Happened

Missouri State Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash on I-70 that killed two people and injured two people on February 5th, 2019 in Lafayette County, MO. Officials say a sedan lost control on ice and crashed into a median. It was then struck by an oncoming semi-truck after it attempted to re-enter the roadway. 19-year-old Wendy R. Rios and 21-year-old Kaled A. Huddlestuin were both killed. Two others were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
