What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-78 in Clinton Twp, NJ on August 19th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:37 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Sentra operated by 24-year-old Kevin Notis II was westbound before traveling into a center median for unknown reasons. Upon re-entering the road, police say the vehicle struck a semi-truck that parked and disabled in a right shoulder. The collision left Notis with fatal injuries. The truck operator was not injured, according to sources. Officials did not have additional information available to share.
