What Happened

State Police identified the bicyclist killed in a crash on Third Ave in Brooklyn Area of New York City, NY on September 8th, 2019. Officials say the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. 62-year-old Abdul Bashar was riding an e-bike when he was struck by a Mack dump truck making a turn on a green light. He was taken to the hospital with critical injuries that he died from on September 18th.
