What Happened

Authorities are investigating a collision that killed a driver at South Salina St and West Beard Avenue in Syracuse, NY on May 24th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:24 p.m. According to investigators, an e-bike is said to have collided with a bus traveling northbound turn at West Beard Ave. The operator of the e-bike, a 40-year-old man who was not publicly identified, was ejected from the vehicle and struck by a passing SUV.
