Georgia State Patrol officials released the name of the woman killed in an accident involving a tractor-trailer in Byron, GA on January 4th, 2019. 53-year-old Carmen G. Hicks was killed when her vehicle lost control on GA 49 North and collided head-on with a semi-truck travelling in an opposite traffic lane. Hicks was pronounced dead at the scene.
