What Happened

Area authorities released information related to the crash that injured several students on US Hwy 17 in Martin County, NC on October 29th, 2019. Officials say the incident happened when a school bus driven by 50-year-old Christopher Bracy was making a turn and collided with another vehicle. Nine of the 25 students on the bus were transported to the hospital. Bracy and two people in the other vehicle were also evaluated for injuries. Bracy reportedly faces a charge of failure to yield.
