What Happened

Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials responded to the scene of an accident that killed two people and injured two others on I-35 near Oklahoma City, OK on January 3rd, 2019. Officials say 18-year-old Erica Womack and 24-year-old Daniel Ellison were killed when the vehicle they were passengers in collided with a semi-truck. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other passengers, 20-year-old Bryan Gusman and 21-year-old Charles Sulton were seriously injured. Bother were transported to an area hospital. The driver, 24-year-old Zacchaeus Hodges was not injured nor was the the driver of the semi-truck, 58-year-old Jimmie Roach. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
