What Happened

State Police have identified the person killed in a crash at Hwy 126 near Vida, OR on August 26th, 2022. They say the incident happened when an eastbound Acura TSX collided with a Chevrolet flatbed truck. The truck was reportedly backing the trailer into a driveway at the time with a construction worker flagging traffic and investigators say the Acura did not stop. The driver, identified as 40-year-0old Shannon Randall, suffered fatal injuries. A 17-year-old passenger was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
