What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at Route 30 in York, PA on April 16th, 2024. Police say the incident involved a box truck colliding with several vehicles at an intersection. One of the vehicle struck was a Toyota Yaris, occupied by 77-year-old Barry Hirneisen and 52-year-old James Lawyer. Reports say Hirneisen died at the scene while Lawyer was hospitalized with injuries he passed away from on April 25th. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
