What Happened

State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that killed a child at I-90 in Erie County, PA on May 22nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:40 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer collided with a vehicle stopped for traffic ahead. The impact pushed the vehicle into three other vehicles ahead. A 10-year-old child in the vehicle initially struck suffered fatal injuries. Police did not comment on the condition of any of the others involved and had not additional information to share.
